MasterPlan

All of us here are big fans of your music and it brings us great joy to see how the Lord is blessing you. We want to let you know that the crowds go insane when we sing 'Jeevan Jal'. We even used it at Brazil and guess what - language was no barrier, the audience went berserk while we played it

Ashish Jacob

“I’ve had the privilege of knowing these exceptionally gifted individuals ever since the band’s advent. Their desire to reach out to youngsters, their journey in faith and their witnessing through music and personal lives has been phenomenal. The energy they bring out on stage - contagious! ‘Jeevanjal’ and ‘Intezaar’ are two of their songs I absolutely love."

David Joy

“You’d expect them to be just another bunch of musically gifted people. But these guys are different. Not only are they incredibly talented, but as individuals too, they are remarkable. Having known them closely, I’m inspired by bands commitment and dedication. And yes, they too have the quiet one, the shy one, the funny one and other such amazing characters that makes them outrageously fun! Beautiful people leading beautiful lives for the Lord.”

Timson Thomas

“It's been amazing how the Lord has been working through us ever since the formation of the band. Especially in places like Wardha; where even non-christians who had heard the name of Jesus for the first time during the concert have professed about the joyful essence of His Spirit. It’s been a transformation for us spiritually as a band and as individuals too. Simply amazing!”

Edgar Faria

“Music; it seems to be everywhere… Busses, Metros- one sees many youngsters lost in bliss with their earphones on. And so we wondered… why not use it to worship and glorify His name on stage! It's been an exhilarating journey ever since. All praises to the One who leads us in Spirit!”

Georlin Babu

“We've been a family for the last 9 years. Having prepared in prayers together for more than 2 years before our debut concert, we have experienced the Spirit work through us everytime we go up on stage! The fellowship has been incredible! Seven different people, but one in mind and Spirit when it comes to glorifying His name… Our journey to heaven through this band has been incredible.”

The Band

Acts of the Apostles is a Delhi based Catholic band which aims to share God’s love through music reaching out especially to the youth. The band was launched in 2009 as an outreach wing of the Jesus Youth Music Ministry of Delhi, and has over 15 originals, in English and Hindi to it's credit. Though one could say contemporary pop would be the genre their music falls in, but a distinctive Indian flavour is evident in most of their sounds. Their music has found a wide spread fan base especially in the Christian circles with their music reaching to even places such as Osaka, Japan and Malawi, Africa. A mixed bag of professionals make the band with CA’s, music instructors, art directors and engineers all being part of the group.

Timson Thomas

A scientist would define Timson as directly proportional to music. Come what may- Rain, Storm, Heat or Chill - he’s always ready to sing. Music is what he has ever known and music is what he ever needs. His Christian upbringing cemented his spiritual faculties and singing was his weapon of choice for sharing God’s love. He is the most sought after recording artist based out of Delhi and has lent his voice to numerous commercials (T.V/Radio) for leading corporate. Grade-8 in western vocal from Trinity College, London. He works as a vocal instructor at an International School. He’s also the lead vocalist of India’s foremost rock band –‘Bandish’. Josini, his wife, has added a perfect harmony to his life.

Siny Maria

From the exteriors, Siny seems like any regular person with a Masters in Social work, who worked with CII. Until, she starts to sing. Her voice has the ability to force her audience to ‘be still’ against their will. Tagged as a non-singer growing up, for the husky texture of her chords, she chose to be a bathroom singer. Christ’s unfailing love against the failing nature of people around captured her. With no professional help, and the walls and mirror of her room as her only audience, she taught herself and soon became a voice to be reckoned with. She's married to Anoop and they have lovely baby girl named Hannah.

Sonali Louis

Ashish Rozario

Ashish Rozario never followed the conventional path. At 17, he found beauty and clarity in a canvas. He pulled himself out of a prestigious fine arts college, because they ‘couldn’t teach him anything new!’ It wasn’t long before ‘India Today’ discovered him. At present, he is the Art Director of a design firm, constantly staying true to his calling of sharing the love, joy and beauty of Christ with everyone around. In the band, he is revered as ‘the one man army’ as his gifts ranges from being the keyboardist, vocalist, composer as well as music arrangement, music production and live sound mixing to name a few. His life-canvas is completed by his wife, Priya, and his children, Alan and Alaina.

Georlin Babu

A 10 year old boy came home from his music class, kicked opened his bedroom door, took his acoustic guitar and threw it hard on the bed and hissed, “That’s it! I quit!”. 8 years later, the same boy moved people every time he strummed the guitar. An electronics engineer working with a semiconductor wireless chip-design firm by day, and the lead guitarist of the band every minute hence. Ask him why go through all this trouble and spat comes the reply “How can I not? Christ is awesome. I have to share his love” Apart from music, his wife, Vindhya and two sons, Steve and Chris, are constant reminders of his blessings.

Edgar Faria

As a kid, Edgar used to play the guitar for church choirs and that’s where all his talents were harnessed. Ask him and he clearly remembers the day, 6 years ago, when he was asked to pick up the bass guitar. He raised his arms in surrender and blurted, “Mein bass nahi baja sakta!”(I can’t play the bass guitar!).The rest is history. Once he picked it up, it was like nectar to the bee. With Christ moulding and guiding him every step of the way, Edgar and bass guitar became inseparable. By profession, he is a Chartered accountant, and he’s been rocking both worlds.

Akhil Pious

Ronald was one of those thousand youth who came to Delhi in search for better prospects. But yet he was different. He would return home from office only to go and meet this chai-wala bhaiya , everyday! Not because the tea was exceptional, but because he believed in sharing god’s love with people on a one-to-one basis. And his warm and positive persona makes it impossible for others to ignore him. Known among the band member to always get the first chord in the wrong transpose, but also revered for bringing in unmatched expression to their song. Professionally, he is a communication designer at a designing firm.

Sunny Dominic

Sunny Dominic has the uncanny ability to disarm people every time he picks up the guitar. And suddenly we find ourselves in a ‘sunny-lit’ room! No one can escape from his effervescent personality. His joyous embrace of life is a testament to the power of Christ’s healing love. As he himself rightly puts in, “Before knowing Christ, I never smiled. After knowing him, I can’t stop!” He recounts the defining moment when Jesus asked him, who was musically-challenged, to pick up a guitar lying at his feet, and he has held onto music ever since. Today we find him as a western music instructor at an International School and handles Keyboard, Guitar and Composition in the band.

Justin John

20 yrs ago, the residents of Shahpur jat village were audiences to the sounds of dhup-dhup-tak-dhup-takk. A wide eyed boy was having fun with his dad by banging on empty boxes and utensils. After his father’s demise, when the struggle of being the head of the family was weighing him down, a preacher said to him,“ Ask father God what you really want!” And all he prayed for was DRUMS! Soon enough he found himself having too much fun with the ’Father Almighty’ - literally drumming away to glory- with no training! Professionally, he is a central government employee and as a drummer he breathes life into their melodies. Now his children, Emmanuel and Joanne, is having a blast drumming with their dad. And his wife Amelia continues to complain about the missing utensils in the kitchen.

Eldho Abraham

For a fresh graduate of engineering, to say no to a job offer, in the middle of recession of 2010, only to attend a gospel fellowship, wouldn’t be considered wise by many. But such was the fervour of this young lad’s faith in Christ. The only thing that was riding in his mind that validated his decision was a few lines from Paul Baloche’s song, “Without you, I’m nothing; I’m nothing, without you!”. And God never left his side either. Working as a senior software engineer with a technology services firm, he continues to support the band as a rhythm guitarist and vocalist.

Nikhil George

One of the warmest person one would ever come across, an exuberant personality, after all ”I can do all things through Christ” is the foundation on which he rests. An average student, doing his BSc. in Delhi University he had only one very innocent prayer in heart: ”Give me friends who are friends with Christ”. God took it to heart and dropped him off at St.Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur. Never in his illimitable-matrix-coded dreams, did he fathom he could make friends who were not only an extension of his own creativity and madness but also renewed and revived his spiritual life. Nikhil reflects how God in his illogical humor, had always put him in sticky spots where the only strategy left was to trust wholeheartedly in the Creator’s plan and never see failure. Post MBA from BITS, he is now a well known copywriter in an Ad-Agency. In Acts, his role revolves around Audio Visuals and Lyrics. Presently, his wife Ciji is at the receiving end of his wit and charm.
